Students in my band, the Cicero-North Syracuse High School Marching Band, were helped tremendously by the Students on Broadway staff after being selected to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Their vast knowledge of New York City and attention to safety helped my students to have a wonderful and safe trip and also set my mind at ease. The students were offered some amazing opportunities in addition to marching in the parade. They saw many of the sites of NY, learned much from our tour guides, were able to perform in Central Park, and enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with families and friends aboard our own private boat.
